Lillian T. Wang joined the Delaware Geological Survey (DGS) in 1999. She was the first professional staff member hired at DGS that worked outside the fields of geology and hydrology. Ms. Wang is a certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) as established by the GIS Certification Institute. Ms. Wang's duties include creating, acquiring, analyzing and managing GIS data in order to produce publication-quality map products, illustrations and data reports. She also provides GIS applications support to DGS staff in research and service related to geology, hydrogeology, geophysics, and geologic hazards utilizing web mapping applications and services.
